Family members of trustees, present or former, or friends sponsored by a trustee are eligible to be married in the chapel.
Wedding dates should be scheduled as early as possible with the Chapel wedding chair. The wedding will be added to the calendar only after the fees are received. In case of a cancellation more than one month before the date, fees will be returned. For a cancellation in less than a month, only the damage deposit will be refunded. A fee schedule is attached.
The Chapel will be available for weddings only during the summer season, Memorial Day through the Sunday after Labor Day. NO exceptions. Only one wedding a weekend will be allowed.
The wedding participants are responsible for supplying their own officiant and music. The Chapel organ may be used. Any organist must be approved by the wedding committee.
The Chapel will be open for two hours for the rehearsal and for two hours before and one hour after the end of the wedding service.
Unless prior arrangements have been made with the wedding chairman, it will be the responsibility of the wedding participants to remove all flowers and other decorations within one hour after the wedding. Any flowers or other decorations not removed will become the property of the Chapel. Nothing can be nailed, stapled, glued or taped to any surface, and no furniture is to be moved. Any candle wax on the floor or furnishings will be reason for the forfeiture of the damage deposit. Damage assessment will be at the discretion of the wedding committee.
