Visiting Clergy
The Reverend H. William “Bill” Walker was ordained as an Episcopal priest at the age of 64, transitioning from a successful career as a real estate attorney in Miami. He earned his undergraduate degree at Washington and Lee in 1968 and then graduated first in his class from the university’s law school. He earned a divinity degree in 2009 from the Florida Center for Theological Studies and began serving as the associate pastor at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish for five years. In 2016, he was called to St. Philips Episcopal Church in Brevard as interim rector, where he served until 2018.
Bill and his wife, Laura, were among six families who founded Trinity Episcopal School in Miami that has now merged into Palmer Trinity School. The school started with 19 students and eventually grew to over 800. He currently works in a senior counsel capacity with the law firm Alvarez Arrieta & Diaz-Silveira, LLP.
