Rev. Elizabeth A. Thompson is a retired elder in the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of Columbia College and Duke Divinity School and served churches in the Spartanburg and Greenville Districts of the South Carolina Conference. Her work with congregations sought opportunities for outreach to and interaction with the surrounding communities and for intentional Christian spiritual formation. In retirement she serves as a mentor for candidates for ministry as they undertake the process that leads toward ordination.
