Visiting Clergy
Rev. Dr. John Boggs, has served throughout the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. He graduated from Brevard College and St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa. and received his Master of Divinity Degree from Candler School of Theology, Emory University in Atlanta, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Drew University Theological School in Madison, NJ. Dr. Boggs has served several local churches in the WNC Conference, including Universal City and South Park in Charlotte, Central in Shelby, and Longs Chapel at Lake Junaluska.
He also served as the Blue Ridge District Superintendent in Asheville and on the staff of the WNC Conference.
