Faith Memorial Chapel depends on the generosity of those who worship with us to sustain the Chapel and support our ministry to the Cedar Mountain community.  Your weekly offerings are the most important contributions that we receive.  If, in addition to your regular offering, you would like to make a lasting gift to support the work of the Chapel for years to come, please consider giving to any of the Legacy Funds described below.  If you would like to give to a Legacy Fund, please indicate that on your check when donating by check or in the special instructions when donating online.

To mail a donation you may send your gift to:

Legacy Funds

The General Endowment Fund supplements our weekly offerings and provides annual operating support to the Chapel to help pay for supplies, routine maintenance, utilities, cleaning, and the honoraria provided to our guest ministers and musicians.

The Benevolent Fund in an endowment fund that supports our neighbors in need in Transylvania County, generally by providing funds to one or more charitable organizations who focus on crisis assistance.

The Prayer Garden Fund is a newly created endowment fund.  It will provide funds to maintain our beautiful new Prayer Garden.

The Marchant Fund, created in 2001, honors the lives of Tom and Elizabeth Marchant.  Funds from the Marchant Fund are given to families in need and to college and graduate students who live in or have close connections to the Cedar Mountain community.  The recipients are identified by the Deacons of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.

The Mitchell Fund, named in honor of Steve Mitchell, who served as the Secretary of Faith Memorial Chapel for over 50 years, provides funds for significant repairs and enhancements to the building and grounds of the Chapel that are not covered by the annual budget.

If you have questions or would like further information regarding any of these funds, please contact Austin Devaney, Endowment Committee Chair, austin.devaney@usa.net or Harrison Marshall, Treasurer, hmarshall727@gmail.com.
